Growing up as a kid with different promises and aspirations is the best thing that can ever happen to a man. The memories of yesterday sitting with friends and family to discuss life issues as we would like to become the best medical doctor, businessman, Engineer, Lawyer, etc. began to pass off when we are faced with real life experience.

Some thoughts are normal at the stage owing to the fact that we are still under our parents and guardians, has little or no responsibility for ourselves.
Life is a mystery. It can give happiness and joy to some of us or give pain, struggle and disappointment to few of us. We grow up in a rich family where life becomes easier with the financial capability to care for our needs while some of us have to battle with poverty. We can't question how some things go on in life. Life may throw challenges, disappointment and pain and it can as well make all the good things life can offer. It's your choice to remain poor.

I don't believe in most people who settle for less. I have realized that people often blame their parents or the Creator of the world, for their misfortune and sufferings.
I have had people who said " I am from a poor family and I can't make it in life like the people from the rich home" You can understand how people buried their destiny, dreams and aspirations by what they believed. They allege that they have been cheated by nature to come from a poor family.

I have known people dreams are destroyed by dream killer but people their own dreams by settling for less in life.
You can turn around every situation in your liveliness. Your family background does not matter, your educational background has zero to do with it, you don't need any connection.

Life in its literal sense does not offer all good things on a platter of gold, it is not a proceed of laziness or weakness. You have got to work hard with persistence, commitment and determination to achieve all the good things life can extend.

You can accomplish greatness and change the story of your family.
We may say no member of our family has achieved greatness in business, academics, work and so on but the generational history can be rewritten by our actions and our inaction will keep us in perpetual disappointment and suffering.
Every man is born great. Nevertheless, discovering this greatness is a task we must embark upon to unveil the blessings and riches we crave for.
I never thought that I could finish secondary school and even attend high institution of learning. At one stage in my life, I have had to drop out of school and pursue an apprenticeship in motorcycle repair. I have friends and family begging me to go to school, but I have made up my mind not to tread the academic line, not because I was not good academically but because of peer pressure. I had acquaintances in the trade and I saw the little money they get and spend on women. They command some level of deference from the ladies. I fancied the motorcycles they ride. I got carried off and I wanted to be like them. I started, but I couldn't grasp anything, I decided I wanted to learn barbing, and my older sister who has been my support will pay for the apprenticeship fee and other things that might be required. Despite the advised from other friends and family I have decided it's apprenticeship, but I have been a failure in all the trades I have desired to learn, I couldn't even repair a motorcycle or barb. It came to a stage that I had to retrace my steps and I did a soul search. I discovered that I cannot succeed in my pursuit to learn these trades at that time.
I went back and conform to my sister and father and I told them that I needed to go back to school and I got their support. I began schooling and I completed my secondary education. It was time for me to further and I did it by myself because my father and sister couldn't afford to sponsor my education to high institution. That didn't dissuade me from going to high institution. I've just been working and going to school. And it became part of life, even when it was really difficult. I won because I set clear goals and was determined to achieve them. I was constantly looking at the larger picture and I looked at where I was coming from, I persisted, I was committed to my goals, dreams and aspirations. Even though I am not where I am suppose to be but I still appreciate where I am today.

Tales abound of people who have achieved greatness in their life pursuit. The most interesting stories in life is the story of small beginnings.
When you pop out from nothing and you achieved greatness. You have become a mentor to somebody, You have written your name in gold. You will be used as an example to prompt others who seek success.

Abraham Lincoln did it and you will not be an exclusion. He's a good example of persistence for success. He was born in poverty and had to deal with defeat throughout his life. His family was forced out of their home and he had to work to support them, he later lost his job. He wanted to go to law school but couldn't get in.

His mother died. He lost elections, eight times, failed twice in business and was bankrupted, suffered a nervous breakdown and was bedridden for six months. He could have quit many times but that was not an option. He turned one of the greatest presidents in America.
Success is not measured by how much you have in your bank account but the number of times you have failed, stand up, dust yourself and move on.

What do you really want in life?  Do you aspire to attend the best schools and achieve the best education in life?  Do you want to become a name  to be reckoned within the commercial enterprise or corporate world?  Do you desire to experience the happiest married life and family?  What is your biggest dream?
Soar like an eagle who never give up. Go after your dreams with passion, hard work, persistence, commitment and pray fervently, and life is going to say, Yes to you.
You must keep good companies that will move you to your dreams. People, especially your beloved ones are they dream killers who would want to discourage you. They would  say all manner of things to make you settle for less like them as they've lost hope of attaining their  dreams.

Read biography of people who have accomplished success in your chosen career or area of interest to get motivated. Define clear and achievable goals for yourself and follow them with your God given strengths.
Begin the journey with a footprint, you might not have all the resources required for the business, school, building, marriage and any other purpose you desire. Do not seek help from anybody. The help you seek would come from someone who will notice your efforts and commitment to your goals and dreams and is willing to help you succeed.

Many of us give up early in life when it's almost a mile to get to our destination in life. Never give up until it is over. Success is yours!!!
